Camp Wakon' Da-Ho

Where the Great Spirit Rises. Each summer, children, youth and adults gather week after week in Casey County to celebrate faith with old friends while making new ones along the way. Camp Wakon’ Da-Ho has welcomed campers for well over 60 years.  

Spring Youth Retreat 2026

Calling all youth currently in grades 6-12! Camp Wakon’ Da-Ho is hosting a Spring Youth Retreat April 17-19, 2026. Details, theme, cost, and packing list are available in the flyer below.
 
Please note that registration is by CHURCHES, not by individuals.  Churches are expected to provide appropriate adult leadership as described in the event flyer.
 
Registration deadline is April 1.

CAMP PAYMENT:
 
After registering for camp, please use the following site to pay your camp fees.  You can pay for more than one camp at a time.  If your church is paying a portion of your fees, please make sure you have the appropriate coupon code.

Register For Summer Camps

 

Mini Camp is a weekend camp for youth that completed grades 2*-3. *Campers that have completed grade 2 can choose either Mini camp or one of the 101 camps.

MINI CAMP REGISTRATION (JUNE 5-7)

CYF Camps are for youth who completed grades 9-12.

CYF 1 REGISTRATION (JUNE 8-13)

CYF 2 REGISTRATION (JUNE 29-JULY 4)

Eighters Camp: This is a unique opportunity for youth who completed grade 8. Eighters specializes in human sexuality and spirituality. EIGHTERS CAMP REGISTRATION (JUNE 14-20)

Junior Camp is for youth who completed grades 4-5.

JUNIOR CAMP REGISTRATION (JUNE 22-26)

Camps 101A & B: Camp 101 is for youth that completed grades K-2*. Each camper must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent, guardian, or other adult aged 21 or older. Like the camper, the accompanying adult needs to fully register for the camp. 101A is a weekend long, sleepover camp. 101B is a single day but does include all the activities of the overnight camp. *Campers that have completed grade 2 can choose either Mini camp or one of the 101 camps.

COUNSELOR APPLICATIONS
 
Interested in serving as a counselor this summer?  Please click on the appropriate link below to express your interest in serving as a counselor. If you wish to counsel more than one camp, you must complete an application for each camp.

COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING APPLICATIONS
 
Counselor in Training (CIT) applications are also now available. CITs must have completed 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. CITs can serve at Junior, Mini, or Camp 101. 
          
In order for the WKDH site team to review applications and assign CITs to camps, applications must be submitted by April 15. Please contact Steven Straub (steven@ccinky.net) with any questions.
