Boundaries Training
The Christian Church In Kentucky’s Faith Trust Boundaries Training offering, which is currently an online event, discusses things you need to know about Ministerial Boundaries. These events fulfill the Committee on Ministry’s requirement for Clergy Boundaries training.
Registration for each event is limited to 22 participants, so choose your preferred date(s) as early as possible and use the Register link to register and pay online.

In this training, you’ll explore how to create and maintain professional boundaries around your personal social media presence as well as your church’s social media presence.
Relationship Boundaries – October 19, 7:30pm-9:00pm EST, via Zoom
The Relationship Boundaries training course centers around helping pastors maintain healthy relationships with members of their congregations. In looking at examples of both unhealthy and healthy relationships, and discussing the nuances of pastor-congregant interactions, this training hopes to teach pastors to avoid relationships, and crossing relationship boundaries, that will pose a problem for the pastor, parishioner, and congregation.

Pastors are given great responsibility and trust when preaching. It can be tempting for the pastor to use the pulpit to speak to their thoughts and feelings on certain issues, and we know there are pastors who use the pulpit to exert their authority over the congregation. This training will help pastors address their preaching in a healthy and faithful way, as well as in an honest way as technology makes it easier for pastors to borrow work and words from elsewhere.
