Welcome to the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) In Kentucky

Welcome, friends! The Christian Church In Kentucky is 240 congregations filled with faithful men, women, youth and children, and nearly 500 ordained, commissioned and licensed ministers actively seeking to discover just what it is God is up to in our neighborhoods, communities and indeed, the whole world. As a regional family we gather in retreats, conferences and camps to grow in faith and better equip ourselves for serving God as modeled for us in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, our Lord and Christ. We are a Table people, gathering every Sunday around the Table of our Lord as his invited guests. That invitation is extended to all people who have confessed Jesus as the Christ. We believe in an informed faith and create within our churches safe places where each and all can discern and discover their own unique relationship with God through study, worship, prayer and service. The centrality of the Lord's Table to Disciples requires us to be people of hospitality, compassion and biblical justice.

A Disciples congregation can be found in many communities and at many cross-roads throughout the Commonwealth. Please come and be part of our movement, "a movement for wholeness in fragmented world" and discover the power of "love without judgment" among us.
