Rev. Dr. Ron Buck is Senior Minister at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Prior to moving to Kentucky in 2004, Rev. Buck served congregations in Arkansas (Hicks United Church of Christ) and Tennessee (Halls and Rockwood). He has also taught U.S. History at Dyersburg State Community College, Memphis State University, and Roane State Community College. He is a graduate of Harding University (M.A.) and Memphis Theological Seminary (M.Div.), with additional graduate work at Memphis State University (M.A. and doctoral studies) and Lexington Theological Seminary. He is currently completing his requirements for the D.Min. at Lexington Theological Seminary, with a project involving a peer-group of ministers from all three branches of the Stone-Campbell tradition.
Dr. Barbara Murray is a Roman Catholic lay woman who earned her D. Min. from Lexington Theological Seminary. A Kentucky native (go Big Blue!), Barbara lives in Cincinnati and works as an editor of middle school and high school textbooks. She has over twenty-five years of ministry experience and currently facilitates online courses for the University of Dayton’s Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation. Barbara belongs to a fiesty Jack Russell Terrier, named Bridget, whose antics keep life interesting and amusing.
Rev. Diane Zehr has served at Florence Christian Church as Co-Pastor (along with her husband Jerry) for nine years. She graduated from Christian Theological Seminary in 1984 and served pastorates in Indianapolis, Indiana, on a Regional Staff in Indiana, and in Ft. Wayne, Indiana as an Interim Associate. She has also served in Homeland Ministries for 4 years before coming to Florence, Kentucky.
