WKDH Fall Work Weekend

The annual Fall Work Weekend at Camp Wakon’ Da-Ho is scheduled for October 14-16. This event is open to all churches and individuals who want to get out of town and prepare the camp for winter. You are welcome to come Friday evening after dinner and stay through breakfast Sunday, or come just for day on Saturday, or anything in between.

This year, in addition to putting away equipment and furnishings, we plan on throwing away several years of collected rubbish that cannot be put in our trash dumpster. We also intend to paint the bathhouses, the garage, and the cabin doors.

Of course we will provide all meals and songs around the campfire. This is a great opportunity for your church, your youth group, your men’s or women’s ministry, any small group in your congregation, or your family to do something together that benefits our outdoor ministries.
