Rev. Kathryn Perry will deliver our opening worship message on Thursday. Kathryn is Associate Minister at Woodland Christian Church in Lexington and Chaplain at Hospice of the Bluegrass. Kathryn has been a lifelong member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and was a former General Youth Council member, HELM Leadership Fellow, and Disciples Divinity House resident.

Rev. Joseph Pusateri will be the preacher for our Friday morning worship service. Joey is the senior pastor of Simpsonville Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a graduate of Indiana University and Lexington Theological Seminary.  He is a Bethany Fellow, past Walker Ministerial Preaching recipient, and Beargrass Christian Church Scholar, member of the Region’s Anti-Racism Pro-Reconciliation Team, and a board member of the prison and reentry ministry: Missions Behind Bars and Beyond.  He writes a bi-weekly faith column for the Sentinel-News in Shelbyville, Kentucky.  Joseph’s personal mission statement is “To share hope and the good news of liberation through preaching, teaching and writing.

The Rev. Dr. Sharon E. Watkins will be our featured preacher for our Friday evening worship service.   She serves as General Minister and President of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in the United States and Canada. When elected in 2005, she was the first female head of a mainline denomination. 
Sharon is the author of Whole: A call for unity in our fragmented world. She shares an invitation to live out God’s unconditional love that heals divisions and divisiveness in both North America and the global community.
